Anyway, I am smart and talented and I can do a lot of things in publishing (book design/typography, pre-press & prod management, proofreading, editing, writing) or entertainment (BethScorzato.com) so if you know anyone who would pay me regular to do any of those things...

And I know I'm not special, and I know a lot of people are in the same boat, but it doesn't make my misery any more bearable. I'm not happier knowing other people are also miserable.

I have been applying to FT gigs for well over two years since my last one ended and I'm so fuckin tired. Bootstraps is all well and good and a nice idea in theory but in practice everything is about lucky breaks and I have had no luck at all since 2021.
