If he says no (which I hope is unlikely), another option might be to create a channel on Discord. The Times lot have a channel there (Crossword Central), on which I am mostly a lurker, and I also use it for the SlowWays walkers' group. I haven't tried creating a channel, but it looks fairly easy.

He is on the list, and normally quite approachable

Apart from doing the Cranberry barred one second, I have been doing these in order, and have almost finished Henri, so just over three more to do. Might be nice to have somewhere we could comment on the individual puzzles. All very enjoyable so far.

That's my excuse gone too. I used to do them occasionally a few years ago when I could print them in the office, and I finished about half the ones I started, but it is several years since I tried - will look at this later in the week.
