I do think it’s kind of funny that people think Alastor would be so terrified/disgusted by sex that if he walked in on HuskerDust he’d run away. If Alastor needed Husk for something he would specifically WAIT until he was ten inches deep in Angel Dust and THEN summon him as a pure power move

I have watched the Hazbin Hotel commentary in the blueray by Viv, Sky and Sam and wrote down fun lore bits that stuck out to me! I wanted to share since I know a lot of people don't have Blueray

Disclaimer: I did my best to convey things correctly but I could have misheard.

I have watched ep1-4 commentary! Interesting things to note so far
-Viv boarded the intro
-They avoid using specific dates and time unless it's really important to not trap themselves
-Adam was originally written a little too 'real' and was meaner until they got him into his rockstar persona
-the joke with how Niffty reacts in front of cameras has existed since the pilot
-they like making Alastor shadow travel so they don't have to animate his walk sequence
-It seems like Adam is really gone. Viv says he was always just meant to be this season.
-Keekee wasn't originally in the show and was added after Sky and Sam asked who she was in Viv's old drawings
-KeeKee can manifest things and move things around
-In stayed gone when the Radio is put in the store front it's Alastor's shadow that puts it there
-Vox has no friends outside the Vees

-Alastor is always standing around menacingly because he has nothing else to do
-The camera Pentious hides is meant for a roof. He's really bad at this.
-Episode 3 was the first produced
-Vaggie knows a lot about hell because she made a point to learn about it. She did her research.
-The arrows on the 'serves cunt' board between Carmilla and Velvette were because of all the cast members they both serve the most cunt interchangeably
-Vaggie's need to be a protector in the relationship is something that's going to be explored through the entire series
-The porno at the start of ep4 is a nod to Angel's crime background
-Val is an example of how abusers can be very charming
- Ep4 is one Viv has had plans for since the beginning

I am one minute into episode 5 and Viv said it's the introduction of some of her favorite characters and Sam and Sky both interrupt to say 'you mean THE. THE favorite'.

Sam then likened him to being Viv's emotional support animal that she carries around in a purse and doesn't let anyone else touch.

Viv: I mean, plenty of other people touch him - NOT IN THE SAME WAY

EPISODE 5 COMMENTARY. There's a lot but you all know what I'm about 😂
-As mentioned above, Lucifer was called Viv's emotional support animal. Viv also wrote A LOT of episode 5
-Pilot Lucifer is debunked again, this time with Viv confirming that Lucifer hanging with the overlords was a pre deadly sins thing, and is no longer the case
-The rubber duck obsession was because of Sam and when pitched reminded Viv of a veggie tales story so she was on board
-Viv also doesn't know which is which between Razzle and Dazzle
-Alastor and Lucifer's relationship is 'hands down' one of Viv's favorite in the show, She likes that they have a 'bitter rivalry 'off the bat' <- (personal opinion, the way she phrased it sounded to me like they won't always have a bitter rivalry but that's where they're starting)
-Alastor and Lucifer are described as 'egotistical assholes who think they are better than everyone else' and it makes for a good combination
