Important point. There is no reason to assume that the US has actually moved any submarines following Trump's nuclear statements. They always have multiple on patrol in the relevant areas. It's still quite something to see this kind of irresponsible saber rattling from a US president, though.
As much as I deplore nuclear signaling by tweet--can't believe I just wrote that--I would NOT necessarily assume there's a been change to the US nuclear posture. The U.S. always keeps ~4/5 SSBNs at sea ready to fire.
