Aspiring software developer. Passionate about independent learning and self-improvement.

Looking to foster positive change in myself and others.
Personally I feel there could be a lot of value in a quick TailsOS/any LiveOS demonstration, and getting someone their first hands-on in creating OS installation media on a USB.

I imagine a good guide could help break people outside of their comfort zone in terms of some of the advanced content.

Just finished up Section 4. I think it would be nice if there were mini tutorials sprinkled in for others to follow along with.

There could be a lesson demonstrating setting up a password manager and how they typically work, for example.

Similar for a user's first VM, install of TOR, or LiveCD.

The only issue I've had so far is in lesson 3.8, where the browser hardening techniques are outdated.

Wasn't hard to educate myself by just looking up your most recent videos outside of the course, though!

Sen. Murphy, is there any way to verify this account is actually yours? It isn't connected to the official government sites like other sen/rep accounts, and I don't see a mention of bluesky at murphy.senate.gov

Note to self to try to dig this up and watch it

Lots about DEI here. From what I can tell they're in hot water with the 2023 SCOTUS decision, doing their best in the current political climate. I bet they'll do better post-MAGA.

They seem to be fighting the good fight (such as the USAID suit).

Make allies not divides? Maybe I'm not informed tho

For someone not too familiar with the ABA, is it typical for them to bring lawsuits and take strong political stances like this?

I suppose I'll have to start writing what I want to say, and ignore the temptation to start editing when the text limit indicator turns red, then just split the post up. Feels like the only way to preserve my voice the way I want it to be heard.

And to be fair I am purposely using tags and putting thought into my posts to possibly nab some followers. But I find in everything I post I naturally want to be more long-form and relaxed.

The character limit really seems to add a "bite" to everything I want to say. Even this.

This is so cool!

I remember at my elementary school there was a News Crew that would broadcast to the classroom TVs in the morning run by our librarian and students. I had my own magic show!
