I think he considers "hoaxes" to be more unfair than untrue—revealed secrets that hurt him are unfair & therefore just slander, *because* they hurt him. Hurtful secrets about others aren't hoaxes and certainly aren't unfair, because they hurt others & not him, even if they have the same source

Republicans are playing so dirty that they openly discuss violating the Constitution or settling for ways it's already been violated. Their MO is getting things their way by any means necessary. We really can't keep pretending it's 2015 anymore. Schumer is blind to the moment we're in

When repeal and replace was an actual GOP platform policy, not sure why anyone would think they'd vote in favor of ACA working as intended

What kind of fantasy funhouse mirror world are these people living in where they think a promised vote on ACA tax credits will result in anything other than the GOP majority voting against those credits? Wasn't this how we got the shutdown in the first place?

I came out of a cult whose leader had mafia connections, and he kept morally compromised people around himself and used their dirt to get them to do whatever he wanted. That's how I see Trump's constant selection of the worst people for administration roles. Just another mob tactic

I took an interpersonal relationships class in college and this was the main takeaway for me. If I agreed with everything other people said and did, there's no need for relationships at all. A synthetic chimera of online opinions that learns from talking to me is not an other, it's a different me

Also more of this weird projection, where they force their beliefs on everyone else and fear being forced to do stuff they don't want to do. No one's going to require you to go to a Shabbat dinner, Evan

Yeah the way she talks about pirates first, then the part about candy later, makes it feel a little bit like it's the punchline that they're trick or treating. Like it's a poorly executed bit. Like why would they not take their candy and walk away?

This has serious Nick Adams, Alpha Male energy. Like a MAGA self-own that's half earnest, half trolling her own followers

Add a little broth or water if it's getting too thick. Or some flour or cornstarch if it's too liquidy. Salsas can vary. I like to use the darkest- colored chili powder I can find, too

Salsa chili:
1 lb beef
16 oz salsa
2 Tbsp chili powder
A can of beans if you want

Brown the beef, drain, add salsa and chili powder, simmer for 30 minutes, add drained beans just before serving if using

it all suggests
1) eliminating SNAP and benefits entirely is the policy goal
2) they plan for the government to be shut down for many months to come

That's my thought too. He's been acting like Congress doesn't exist for a while now. Executive Orders and naming acting officials and impoundment
