A glacier partially collapsed in Switzerland, burying the village of Blatten in a huge landslide of ice, rock, and mud after residents had been evacuated.

Scientists called the collapse of the glacier “unprecedented” in the Swiss Alps.

This is dystopian. I'm with Brian in that it is not legally warranted. This is worse than the days of the Nixon administration!!
We are not under invasion.

There is no justification for suspending our constitutional rights.

Every single American should speak out against this, loudly and forcefully.
Stephen Miller: "The writ of habeas corpus can be suspended in a time of invasion. So I would say that's an option we're actively looking at."

This guy lacks humanity
Stephen Miller, the White House deputy chief of staff who orchestrated President Trump’s crackdown on immigration, told reporters on Friday that the administration was considering suspending the rights of immigrants to challenge their detention in court before being deported.

Bernie Sanders made a surprise appearance at Coachella 2025 last night.

So he went from the LA rally to Coachella. He's 83 and fighting like this. This should be an inspiration to all of us. If he can do this, we can all do a little more.

They're called public records for a reason. Starting today, WIRED will *stop paywalling* articles that are primarily based on public records obtained through the Freedom of Information Act, becoming the first publication to partner with @freedom.press to offer this for our new coverage.
Wired is dropping paywalls for FOIA-based reporting. Others should follow
As the administration does its best to hide public records from the public, Wired magazine is stepping up to help stem the secrecy
