I don’t understand how dwindling support is “ruining his life.” His life is ruined if he’s not a US Senator? It sounds very entitled for a man with a Nazi tattoo and an online history of racist/misogynist statements.

David Hogg wanted to primary people and was pushed out of the DNC because of it. His PAC, Leaders We Deserve, is endorsing candidates that are running in opposition to the DNC supported primary candidates.

Lots of fed workers aren’t currently getting paid. I mean, Mike Johnson is. But hundreds of thousands of others aren’t.

Current teacher here. When I started at my district (2007), we were paid $14228 a year more, when adjusted for inflation. We make less now than we did 18 years ago. 😕

He’s just so damn good at this. I saw someone point out anyone <30 had never seen a political candidate that’s so full of hope, charisma, enjoyment of people, & the use of fun in a campaign. This has been an exhilarating change. Those of us >30 may be more cynical but are reminded of better days.

In the DC area, there are soooo many unemployed Fed workers (& those that are working in places with dismal morale) that every job opening has tons of applications. There just aren’t enough jobs to move to - which makes job searching even more demoralizing than usual.

It’s terrible that these men and women have been pulled from their families to pick up trash… and? There’s not even much for them to pick up. See how empty their bags are?
