One of the principles of the #AIOptimism Framework is prompting. For creating activities with Canva Code, I encourage educators to first imagine what they'd like to create, then write a descriptive prompt to match. In this example, I show 3 steps to write a great prompt and model my results. #EduSky

How am I just now seeing this? AI Literacy: A Framework to Understand, Evaluate, and Use Emerging Technology was published in June 2024. I really recommend the sections on Core Values, the Ethics Matrix, and the student use trajectory. A great resource! Link > files.eric.ed.gov/fulltext/ED6...

I set my Lyft account to automatically round up and donate to my local YMCA. Today it is costing me ONE PENNY. But can you imagine what would happen if everyone on Lyft did this?! If you think it takes a village, be a villager. 👏🏽

With 15 flights in the next 6 weeks, winter weather, and government chaos, I finally installed the Flighty app. I’ve seen it highly recommended by so many other travelers and I am already impressed with the notifications!

I'm setting a personal goal to finally set aside time to explore Affinity before the end of the year. I'm familiar with Adobe Photoshop (a fun fact: I taught digital photography as an elective!) and use Lightroom daily. It will be great to learn a new tool and see how the two compare. #EduSky

I was recently gifted this new book for educators and system leaders called AI Express. What impressed me the most is that the book is written by two educators who actually did this work for two years before creating a resource-packed guidebook about it.
