Love, grace, freedom, books, music, twirling in a field of flowers. Exploring faith after a spiritually abusive environment. God is far better than I'd realized. Rethinking everything. Trying to be more fun. I ❤ libraries.
Our school board recently declined to approve Lifewise, and I was pleasantly surprised.

My husband could tell you all about them; he has a few.
I, like you, am mostly unaware of how they work.

Thank you. I think I did. It came together nicely in the end, I thought. I speak at church 3 or 4 times a year, and it's usually not as challenging as it was this time. But I also think there was a reason for the "pause" in divine help from God this time.

I don't know, but if you like lime, this herbal tea is comfort in a cup.

I was there for a day 17 years ago and would love to visit again. Thanks for sharing these pics!

My arms & legs are showing a lack of consistency more than yours are. 😉😊 Alright, well then, we can both work on our diets. {Handshake across the screen}
Also, thanks for being a voice of love, reason, moderation & Canadian spirit on here. This wandering Christian (& American) appreciates it.

Good work! I'm struggling with consistency in making good food choices and getting exercise, but I've gone for a walk between 15-90 minutes every day for almost a week and that's been good. Proud of you!

Fellow Kentuckian here. Yes, and the Republican half of the KY part of my Facebook newsfeed insists this is the D's fault for not reopening the government. 🤦‍♀️

People are saying the weirdest stuff, and my question so often is this: Would this be fine with you if Biden or Harris were the one doing it. Here's a post I saw yesterday (see image) that downplayed the demolition so much that I truly was stunned.

Perhaps because it's such an on-the-nose physical representation of what this administration is doing to our democracy and our country.

It is owned by the NPS and is designated as a National Heritage Site, but it is not a National Park.

My story is so tiny, but my family & I have reservations for a cave tour at Mammoth Cave during our kids' fall break. Current shutdown means no cave tours. We've had to restructure our fall break (& wait for a refund that probably won't happen til govt reopens). We spent all our play $ on those tix.
