It is important that young men know that who ever they are, they are worthy of love and respect. I agree they need education. Don't discount trade schools. Men need to be judged by their character. Are they honest? reliable? do they take good care of their family? do they respect women?

Could you not find any good examples for role models besides athletes? My sons are not athletes, they are very smart nerds. They are all successful and good men. Young men need a variety of options for role models. Nerds, business men, political figures, fathers, people that look like them.

I would like to add that at least as far back as Truman, when have we successfully helped any country in the Middle East? Never? This area has been in conflict since the Old Testament. And we think we can resolve it? It should be clear that it is never going to be resolved. Let's stay out of there.

I took care of a man who survived "Post-polio syndrome". He was fortunate enough to have insurance that covered part of the 24 hr care, and family to cover the rest, so he could live at home. He lived in a wheelchair on a portable ventilator. I am sure he would have preferred the vaccine.
