wait i just did the maths and i think despite getting 6 fewer seats, the constituency changes and the increased number of sinn fein seats means functionally labour's majority will be larger than 97 as well. in 97 it was 179. i think in 2024 it'll be a minimum of 181. oof.

i'm full of predictable anxiety: will it be enough, can labour fix it, will people will turn on them, i don't like x policy... but you know what? fuck the tories. they're near 120 seats. worst result for since before suffrage. they collapsed in shame & deserved it & SOME STUFF will now be better.

well i'm disappointed the exit poll isn't under a hundred, but lbr, when "worst result since the 19th century" represents outperforming the polls, they're still pretty fucked.

i saw dessa on sunday in london. it was epic. my camera hated the lights, so i gave up on pics & just enjoyed being there. she has such a masterful command of the audience; the songs were phenomenal; she's so good at the between-the-songs patter. also she straight up stage-dived onto the crowd.

i need to get rid of expired prescription medication. i'm sposed to take it back to the pharmacy. but the local boots say they aren't taking any at the moment cus no one's picking up their waste stuff (why? i don't know, society is breaking down i guess). do i just keep trying random pharmacies?

i hope they eventually do overseas citizens. none of the e-file options are usable for me. they either: don't have the right forms, need payment & don't accept foreign accounts, or need a US cell for 2-factor auth. i'm legally obligated to do this but my only option is posting hardcopies to Texas.

Daylight Saving Time is increasingly hard to notice when my digital devices are like, "What? Nothing happened. We know what time it is."

And my stove is left blinking and screaming, "IT HAPPENED! TIME SHIFTED UNNATURALLY! THEY'RE ALL LYING! ONLY I KNOW! ONLY I REMEMBER!"

And we are live. More than a year's worth of work is now available. So much blood, tears and sweat were poured into this.
