Oh, autumn 🍂
We’ve had so many grey days recently, I couldn’t resist a little expedition out amongst the golds and browns and low-sun beauty 🧡

Life is FIRMLY in the way of writing at the moment. It’s that kind of season.
My goal is not to let the mammoth “shoulds” weigh me down too much… I’m half way through a round of structural edits on my twisty-turny psych crime novel, can’t wait until i have breathing space to get back to it 🩵

Excited to dive into this 🤩

I spent today reading through novel #2 for final tweaks, readying myself to dive back into the query trenches in the coming weeks - oscillating between excitement and dread at the prospect.

Meanwhile, ideas for novel #3 are brimming, and I found myself sketching out a very rough structure…

I’m out of action with covid, and annoyingly don’t feel up to reading - but so grateful I’d been hoarding Audible credits.

Just finished One of the Girls by Lucy Clarke, loved it all the way through.

Rolling up to this new platform with optimism, and hoping we get a return to the wonderful #writingcommunity we lost on the other place 📝
