One of the key things for a tracking app is reducing friction. I’m working on extracting events from natural language in @chroniclingapp.com with Apple’s new Foundation Models in #iOS26 and it’s looking really promising

A couple of before and after views of @chroniclingapp.com on #iOS26. Given I use #SwiftUI native elements, most things do pretty much "just work", but I'll be thinking more about the future of the design over the beta season

Jumping back into #Nintendo gaming for the first time since owning a Switch pre-baby in 2021. First impressions really positive - for me the size and weight is the sweet spot between the original and the Steam Deck. Open to game recommendations for things to catch up on! #Switch2

I set up four menu based shortcuts on my Home Screen - mostly opening apps to particular views, or asking for text and sending it somewhere, and it’s really helped make my habitual phone pick ups less wasteful

After several months of cold, dark training runs, it was a surprise to run the Cambridge Half Marathon on Sunday in beautiful sunshine and 18°C! While the sun was lovely afterwards, I think around mile 8 I was pretty desperate for a classic British grey cloud 😅

After a brief hiatus while doing my taxes (yay!), I’m now exploring adding timed events to @chroniclingapp.com. This uses the existing count field to save minutes or seconds tracked, with an optional target 🍅
