They have twisted the definition of “equal rights” to mean “my equal right to exist in spaces without being reminded that LGBTQ people exist”.

Ugh this is the biggest problem with Christian Nationalists. THEY ARE ALREADY GETTING PREFERENTIAL TREATMENT and it’s never enough. The police spent many thousands in public funding and acted like their private security, but it wasn’t enough.

This guy is just telling on himself. “I have employer-funded healthcare and I have literally never thought about what it is like to be anyone else but me.”

This is how gender roles happen. It doesn’t matter if you read Fair Play or prepare to combat them—sooner or later one of you gets pushed out of the workplace and the other is terrified of losing their job, and they just happen.

After nearly ten years in the tech industry I didn’t think I could be surprised by bad workplace practices, but I will admit that this one caught me off guard. They knew he was the primary breadwinner right now while I am at home with our baby, and it seems unlikely to be a coincidence.
