Extraction from FB almost complete. I know #Bluesky is not a 1:1 exchange, but part of a retraining of what/how/with whom we share and most importantly, why.

Why? This is to say: I’m reachable on this channel for exchanges of info of all sorts, and sharing of beauty.

To keep an eye on…”Why it matters: X in a Monday court filing argued that its users don't own their accounts and those accounts can't be sold or transferred to a third party without X's permission.”

It is now indisputable that pregnant women needing emergency care are being allowed to die in states that have banned & criminalized abortion

Yet somehow it’s fine to ask 🤰 trainees / faculty to travel to these states for medical conferences or miss out on professional opportunities? #idsky #medsky
NEW: Porsha Ngumezi is the fifth case we've reported on in which a woman died after not receiving a D&C or its second-trimester equivalent in time, or at all.

Her case raises questions about how abortion bans are pressuring doctors to avoid standard care even in straightforward miscarriages.

Interesting perspective on if/when institutions should move to @bsky.app & join in rebuilding an ecosystem that existed on other platform. ≠ considerations that we have as individuals. Curious if government organizations in healthcare/science will be allowed to join given old platform owner #medsky
