2025 wasn’t a very good year for Magic. For me at least. Compared to 2024 which had slam dunks sets like Bloomburrow and Foundations, 2023 had DMR, LTR, WOE… and so on.

Ten years ago, when our relationship was fresh, my partner and I listened to a lot of her debut album. So it’s a bit sad that whatever she’s up to now has a correlation to some pretty amazing memories.

I’d heard it was going to be Orcs? But Dark Eldar could be fun if they were up against one of the other big rumoured up-and-comings: Dark Angels Ravenwing. Though after Dark Vengeance I don’t think they’d go so hard in on one very specific flavour of space marine like that again.

My first/current army is the Fallen, which means a lot of the time Im using Dark Angels rules, and playing Space Marine mirror matches. My next army will be Craftworld Lugganath which is at the piratey end of the “nice” Eldar. Hopefully that’ll provide a fun experience for myself and my opponents!

Dark Eldar >> Chaos >> Blood Angels >> Ad Mec in that order for me personally.

Why? Because Dark Eldar aren’t very popular to collect apparently so it’d be rad to see more people posting sweet models to enjoy, or to be able to rock up and play against something different.

As a parent and a cardboard addict… the lack of sleep that newborns come with makes you feel like crap. So logically the card games are counteracting this marvellously. Nothing to worry about. Though if in doubt pick up a third game, and that will fix things again. I recommend Sorcery.

Time for Martin to ban and/or unban something silly (like Necro and/or Tide) and completely ruin the format for 6 months to chase the /r/mtgfinance mouthbreathers away. Then when they’re not looking we can start having fun again.

I needed a job and I was kinda ok at doing it so that when I needed a new job I got one doing a similar thing but now my rent is rising faster than my (regular/reasonable) pay rises so there’s no way I can start at the bottom at another type of job.

I’m also working on creating or expanding profile pages for notable players. If anyone in the Finn community is interested in helping this would be a great place to start. For example: Arto Hiltunen was Champion twice and had some solid Pro Tour results but currently has no page on the wiki at all.
