A year’s worth of progress at this 4-limbed paradiddle-esque pattern- first shot is the timing of my first attempt, second is my most recent one.
Compared to yesterday’s post you’ll notice I lost barely any progress compared to the faster exercise during my time away from practise 1/2

A lot to love about this of course but one of my favourite things about it is the intense sense of physicality the intimacy of the recording imparts to Stan Getz’ saxophone

In June my daughter was born and I went a month without practicing- as you can see here my chops fell off considerably but even with the more restricted amount of time I currently have for practicing it’s been faster to recover them than it was to develop them in the first place
