I decided to actually re-engage with social media again by joining bsky and follow all the people I tend to listen to on podcast. Also I wanted to add another digit to the people who want to piss off Musk. A mix of optimism and bloody mindedness.

I’d like to think so, but I’m reminded of the time that Clacton had a Tory MP who - if memory serves - defected to UKIP. It didn’t seem to make much difference, despite the locals claiming to hate the bloke. All they saw was the party name and not the chancer behind it.
