(Apologies for being unclear: This is specifically speaking to our DNS resolver; we return NXDOMAIN for those domains as well as over 400,000 more advertising and tracking domains.

It is available in both standard cleartext and via DNS-over-TLS.)

The open web can only exist if the people and organizations sustaining it act in the best interest of its users, even if that means - in some cases - breaking the "handshake agreement" of neutrality and saying, "No, you don't belong here."

Facebook, Twitter, and other hate sites don't belong here.

Hopefully these three points can help provide a little bit of confidence for anyone who may be looking to use our services to host their own personal sites and shops!

3.) We have fallbacks.

If for whatever reason a government dictates their ISPs to block us by domain, we operate our own DNS server that people can use to find us again and we have multiple fallback domains that we can use to restore service for affected areas.

In short: We can evade tech blocks.

2.) We are financially stable.

We have enough non-business income to stay alive even if we were locked out from taking payments. This means that a pressure campaign against us from merchants can't - at the present time - stop us from operating.

In short: We can't be choked out as easily as others.
