I was productive this morning before work. We now have a cleaned out fridge that can accommodate the fresh turkey I'm picking up tomorrow night.
I also have an appointment on Wednesday for a tattoo consult. Jess' tattoo artist wants to add some d&d to her portfolio, so I'm getting an owlbear cub.

We started a new campaign last night. I was super nervous, but excited about doing opening vignettes with each player, which I've never done before, but they worked out really well! Everyone seemed to have a good time. My players are awesome! They understand the assignment 100%.

Our holiday tree arrived, so we went ahead and put it up. Its not quite as full as the picture, but I love it. Seeing it in the window when we were coming in from walking the dog made me so happy. Ornaments should come next week!

It's gotta be pretty damning that the Supreme Court justices just declined Kim Davis' case outright. They didn't bother to sign it, just denied.

So, one of my campaigns (a fully homebrew follow up to the Mad Mage module) is going to be ending in the next 5-6 months. I floated the idea about what the next campaign should be, and my players asked for another homebrew.

Six days post second Ghost concert, and I'm still having snippets running through my brain. It's not a fic thing, but I may have a fandom again. At the very least, it is a hyperfixation.

The article on me just posted on the Johns Hopkins site about one of my patients who wrote a really sweet compliment. It even had my picture! Internal, so I can't link it, but I'm very excited and proud. And a little embarrassed. Im not used to this kind of fuss being made over me.
