I've had to flag to some colleagues that on leave I will not have email access and so they do actually need to get paperwork to me in advance.

It can be tricky crossing the e-cultural barrier.

My mother has saffron in her cupboards that saw the fall of the Berlin wall.

There was a year where I was regularly commuting between 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 and 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿. I have dozens of photos from the east coast mainline between Newcastle and Edinburgh- every single week, blazing sun in the toon, and gloomy grey as soon as you hit the border.

I took it as a sign to move a little to the south 😅

I am not someone in need of another distinct hobby..

It's not that person 🙂

But I do think genuinely having no hobbies or interests outside of work is sad (not in the haha-loser sense, but in that it's a huge shame)

This brought to you by my recent thoughts on taking up scything, (there's a course near Whernside)

I've chosen against it for now, as the patch of ground I look after is next to a graveyard and I think (on balance), that a loud strimmer is less upsetting than strolling along with a scythe 😅

Found it 😊 (on the key hook, of all places, where *I* definitely didn't put it 😅)

Maybe I'm slightly cynical this week, but a risk they end up being a how-to-guide to bully someone most effectively?

Did I go on a whole diversion just for the joy of the pronunciation and etymology?
Yes, of course, yes 💚💚

You can get tick removal tools that are credit card sized. One lives in my handbag (I walk through woodland most days), as earlier removal helps.
They cost pennies.
