Natural resources conservation, environmental education, birds, and cheese🦅 🧀 🌲
Quite possibly the best fridge magnet spotted at the office. Cant help but read it in the voice of those pickup truck commercial narrators 😆

Went to a comedy club last night and this fab dragon mask was abandoned in an alleyway behind a vacant building. So many questions for this little buddy… 🐉 #Minneapolis

A little basking sea turtle (Green I believe?) for your feed from Pā’ia, Maui.

There’s a lot of ugliness in the world right now. Reminding myself to acknowledge the light and life has been more challenging lately. Turtle definitely helped. 🌊

Love it! 🦅 I used TP rolls with my students for art owls! We had a few new species arise like these superhero owls. 🦉 So much fun!

That one time I was at an ornithological conference and an attendee had this super rad hair style reflecting the head plumage of a Pileated woodpecker. 🤩 #birds #birding

Got a new stove/oven. Nothing fancy but a welcome upgrade.

Named it “Flame Judi Dench”. She’s doing great work already.

My phone has been dishing up the best photo memories lately. This handsome buddy was on display at a natural resource conference I presented at a few years back. Fangirled pretty hard.

One of my work travel hobbies is snapping pics of weird/fun hotel carpet while at conferences and rating them. This is one of my all time faves from Iowa. The conference just happened to be focused on clean water conservation work in the Mississippi River corridor. 💦 🐟

One of my fave local performing arts groups in MN, In the Heart of the Beast, creates stunning puppets to help tell their stories about our connections to our shared natural resources and each other. This axolotl had me swooning! Another win for team Arts & Science!
