But yes! Something this film still does well, all these decades later, is demonstrate how many infants and chronically ill adults were infected very early in the AIDS pandemic. We just ignored them.

Worse, they seem to think cutlet is synonymous with cut, as in any cut of meat.

Which is incorrect in both English and French—the two languages they claim to speak in their bio.

if i've learned one thing from doing union stuff while also doing other forms of organizing, it's that you're better off with people you disagree with who are nevertheless trying to do the same thing as you than with people you agree with who aren't trying to do anything

I honestly didn’t think anyone read that character as tragic. I just assumed your read, which is my read, was pretty universal.
