This is identified as an oil painting but it has the pale, washy look of a watercolor but with sharp black ink details. It depicts a tabby cat peering intensely over the edge of a table that is littered with sewing supplies like thread, a tape measure, thimble, pin cushion, and empty spool. It's easy to imagine that in the next moment a little tabby paw will reach up and over the edge to swat one or more of the items off the table.
