I’m just gonna show people this when they ask me why don’t I work with Rs in Congress on immigration - or democracy for that matter.

The days of fierce Harry Reid politics are long gone. This woman continues to disappoint with her bland, “moderate” posturing, seeking some magical bipartisanship deal with Republicans who could not careless about people’s healthcare or pocketbooks.

Every time f’ing Democratic moderates said Cornyn is a reasonable guy, I laughed at their naïveté. He masks really well and then he reminds you, he’s always been one of them…

Absolute bullshit. False logic/justification. This bill will f' over both U.S. citizens and noncitizens. No one is spared except big money and big corporations.

I said what I said. We should all be angry when children and mothers are disappeared and deported. I don’t care if you call yourself a centrist or a progressive, we need you to fight, to show you’re willing to have the people’s back. Via @politico.com

If being a centrist means being a callous coward, then you should rethink whether you should be a Congress person whose duty it is to serve the people & our Constitution.

How hard is it for you to message that you're financially f'ed w/ tariff wars & no due process or democracy in place?

Hmm where I've heard this line before for nearly the last decade. Oh yeah, I've said that in 40+ data-driven memos, recs and decks. Going on offense on immigration is a political MUST to win the debate & voters. You can listen to @billkristolbulwark.bsky.social or me, but Dems need to just do it.

Justice Sotomayor’s chilling warning to all of us: this could be you, me or any US citizen who could be disappeared — “history is no stranger to lawless regimes”

This is Andry, a gay man who fled a dictatorship, who legally sought asylum and freedom in the US, only to be wrongly profiled because of a tattoo with mom/dad inked on his arm and sent to a dangerous prison in a foreign country. www.newyorker.com/news/annals-...

Xenophobia in clear view- it’s disgusting. @repespaillat.bsky.social is a fighter for the American Dream, a man, a U.S. citizen, an elected leader who embodies the best of our collective story as a nation. They’ll call anyone “illegal” who doesn’t fit their version of an American.

$200 million ad campaign to thank Trump for “closing the border” is called government propaganda—meant to seize public sentiment and blunt potential backlash. Unanswered, it accelerates our path towards autocracy. www.rollingstone.com/politics/pol...

The symbolism and the consequences of this move inches us even closer to an isolated, authoritarian America where the first to be persecuted are immigrants.

Democratic leadership and the political elite on the left often deem the issue of immigration as the ugly stepsister of the left. Sidelining the issue or conceding to the right on immigration doesn’t win elections—it emboldens the American autocrat. open.substack.com/pub/catalyze...

Trump has instructed officials to come up with a plan to prioritize refugee admissions of “Afrikaners in South Africa who are victims of unjust racial discrimination.”

It was never about border security or enforcement. It has always been about redefining American identity as white.

Trump’s tariffs. Musk’s overreach. They’re all justified by weaponizing the issue of immigration. So how do we get Dems to care and respond by not omitting the issue that Trump revels in. Read my latest here: open.substack.com/pub/catalyze...

Hats off to Washington State's Gov. Ferguson. Showing leadership, commonsense and courage in the face of cruelty.

Democrats need to stop the infighting, the blaming and the bad voting. We don’t need to look to past messengers or podcasters. We need courage against cruelty. The data shows fighting for immigrant families is a fight worth having. Read my latest: open.substack.com/pub/catalyze...

Chad Wolf in one breath says that EO on birthright citizenship is narrow and people voted for this kind of policy that would have made Kamala Harris a second class citizenship. Oh Chad, pretty sure ppl didn’t vote to create a generation of second class citizens.

Welcome to the 21st century kleptocracy, where it’s profit over democracy, disinformation over truth, and division over e pluribus unum.

Thank god for California. Always fighting the good fight. 🙏🏽

Learn, listen and share pls! Above all, tell Dems they need to actually read the bill. This is NOT a border security bill. It's a building block to fuel and embolden Trump's cruel agenda and his enablers, such as hostile state AGs like Ken Paxton. @catalyzeus.bsky.social
