Canada (Nova Scotia) is home of the heart, Netherlands is physical home, and I worry about the state of the world. Single cat lady, music lover, choral singer, wannabe pianist, embroiderer, pretty good home cook, former technical writer.

It's an obvious AI version of you. The voice and eyes are recognizable, but the mouth and Depeche patterns are wrong. Very creepy.

AI is going to kill us. 🙄

What a loss. My sincere condolences to his friends and loved ones.

Good luck! I learned to sew at school (Home Economics mandatory for girls, and Inudustrial Arts mandatory for boys🙄) and have never regretted it. Maybe check out continuing ed classes for sewing courses. They can be really helpful.

I agree. Paprika is really great and I've been using it for years. It makes scaling recipes really easy, and I use it to keep notes on changes I made or would make the next time. I just wish the editor didn't jump to the end of the recipe with every minor edit.

Oh dear. Where do you stand on Twigz pretzels? I can't get them here and I love them even more than Hawkins cheezies (which I also can't get here.)

I used counted cross stitch embroidery for the same purpose. Less healthy but quite meditative.

I have a few seed packets and an envelope with self collected tomato seeds in the cutlery drawer, but never get organized to sow stuff early indoors and transplant. 🤭

Good for you! I have never been organized enough, but my balcony tomato plants are also doing really well this year and have started setting fruit.

I'm so sorry. Cuddles from my cats.

I know, but lots of people only read headlines, unfortunately.
June 19, 2025 at 8:49 PM
Misleading headline. The article itself states "The ban was brief, as the vice president’s account was reinstated just minutes later."
