You can scale down to a chromebook or a windows laptop for less than $300. They aren't iOS but I'm planning to replace my $950 Lenovo that fried itself with something cheap like a Windows laptop.

Way to go! I make mine all the time. Personally I use a mix of white vinegar, water, sweetener, dill and maybe some Italian spices. I bring it to a boil and then let it cool before refrigerating.
