Thanks to @americanprogress.bsky.social for this great analysis on how unhoused people are impacted by the #Medicaid and #SNAP cuts in the reconciliation bill. The address verifications alone will kick thousands (if not millions) of homeless folks off coverage. This is just unconscionable.

In spite of a court order restoring funding, some health care providers are still frozen out. These closures are devastating to patients who have nowhere else to turn. Is this what “making America healthy again” looks like? Illness and layoffs?
