Great game. The new rules have made a huge difference. This game would have been defensive muck in previous years. Tyrone were excellent. There must be another All Ireland in this team.

Great thread. Thanks for sharing. Sounds like a great fella. Do they make them like that anymore? Also, I see he did an apprenticeship; would more people (especially young men) be better off if there were decent apprenticeships?

Looked to me like they didn't want to win that match, really. Their All Ireland group will be easier as a result. OTOH, Galway looked very good.

Not true. O'Sullivan got a motion passed in Cork CC in 2014 & a few businesses installed fluoride filters at the time. A load of nonsense. The water supply in Bantry contains fluoride, thankfully.

There's a strong strain of bullshit con-artistry in American history. Trump is the latest example. It runs side by side with the more noble themes of American history. It's probably the 1st time the BS con-artist strain is in the WH, though. Or maybe not?

Didn't see it. Heard it was appalling rubbish. A film as mystifying to the "Irish" as to anyone else. A poor man's "Playboy of the Western World" (JM Synge).

The figures for Ireland are bananas. And not believable, obviously. Distorted by Multi National Companies trading here. GNP growth per capita is a better figure for Ireland. Some of the MNC investment is here for tax reasons.

The Viennese are famously rude. Too many tourists. Always wanted to go. Went and found it appalling. Other central European cities are more interesting & with nicer people and food - Prague, Budapest.
