At BCIB, apprentices aren't just gaining experience— they’re powering B.C.’s construction workforce. Since 2019, they’ve contributed nearly 1.5 million craft hours, building skills, advancing careers, and strengthening the communities where they live and work.

On National #TruthandReconciliation Day we should all take time to reflect on the truths of residential schools. We honour survivors, their families and communities, and those who passed. Today is an opportunity to listen and learn.

We had a great time at the Operating Engineers (IUOE Local 115) Heavy Equipment Rodeo! It is always fun to be able to see people discovering the trades. Attendees got to try operating excavators, the cranes, and the simulators.
