Raises some serious questions around Third Party regulations. Not just re: debate participation. Read Elections Canada's interim third party reports. Levant will predictably and proudly say that he followed all the rules and the funds he used to go back into Rebel News were totally kosher.

To be honest I'm not really interested in this angle so much as I am in the fact that this was allowed to happen at all. Levant was able to register both ForCanada and Rebel News as 3rd Party Campaigns simultaneously and use funds raised by ForCanada to pay Rebel Media for "consulting." Red flag?

Rebel was already using the truck to display the same type of ads prior to ForCanada's registration. And Levant ALSO registered Rebel News as a separate Third Party under his name (without ever making a public announcement about it). Will the Comissioner of Canada Elections speak on this?

It's not just ForCanada though. He also simultaneously registered Rebel News as a second Third Party campaign. We can and should be mad at the Debates Comission, but what about the Comissioner of Canada Elections? How was this ever allowed to happen, and will their use of funds be investigated?

I contacted the Comissioner of Canada Elections with concerns about this weeks ago. Still haven't heard back!

It's actually not just For Canada. Levant registered Rebel News as a second Third Party. I have questions about how one media person can have 2 simultaneous Third Party campaigns...
