For its time they were pretty scary to a lot of people. I know, because nobody wanted to watch it with me and they had an almost visceral reaction to me even mentioning the title. Yet, I know what you mean, as Butterball cracks me up. He really needs a fedora.

What’s a “comfort” horror watch you don’t mind playing often?
First time I saw this movie I found myself quickly rooting for the Cenobites, so it never really feel like horror to me, but more a macab superhero film.
