Remember the late Philippine President who broke protocol on a last ditch effort to halt her execution. PNoy succeeded. And now she comes home to a Philippines that no longer has Tokhang as official policy. To have second chances in life is always worth celebrating.

Please spare a thought for the Philippines, which has been pummelled by 4 typhoons in the past 10 days. We continue to be one of the countries most at risk to climate change.
