Yesterday was pir first session back for my DnD pirates campaign. I wanted them to feel the full scope of the empire's power. So they were pursued all over the city. One sidekick NPC died, and one PC and a sidekick NPC were captured and arrested. A bit of a slog honestly. But we are back

Last night, we finished up Murder in Metal City Starfinder 2e. Quick thoughts:
Good- Story was good. PCs loved the investigations. "It's a conspiracy, man!" Vibes. Agent Z and the NPCs were memorable.
Bad- Combat was too easy. We come from DnD 5e and this combat was too simple. Also, my PCs wanted

Wanted to love #HIM, but something is missing. Marlon Wayans is amazing in it. I'm glad I saw it, but maybe it needed a bit more time in the oven.

Saw A Crown of Candy from Dimension 20. Amazing! Game of Thrones in Candyland. Definitely going to rip off some ideas for a short campaign I have in mind.

4 months ago I took a great job opportunity. My mental health is so much better. I was terrified about the change but I'm happy. Being a high school teacher wasn't for me. Now I work 12 hour shifts in a pharma and I can tell you they are less exhausting than a 6 hour shift as a teacher.

Last night I saw the movie Together with my SO. What an experience. If you love body horror with a morbid sense of humor, do yourself a favor and go watch it. Amazing acting by a real life couple. Horror buffs go to the cinema and watch it.

I was the Storyteller for a Vampire the Masquerade story for the first time ever. I'm so proud. I have never improved so much. I know my NPCs and their motivations. I know how they would react to my PCs' actions. Ended on a cliffhanger, let's see how they resolve it in two weeks.

Saw Superman. Solid B. David is a great Superman, and the cast is good. Mr Terrific is terrific. Lex Luthor is despicable as ever. This DC Universe is off to a good start. A few things could have been better, but that wasn't the cast's fault. Krypto is a good bad dog.
