Yes! The dev told me that he was trying to remember the code so he could show their son, but had forgotten it - haha.

I don't think there's an indication after the code, and it's kind of tricky that you have to save after before it takes effect. I was trying to get the PC version working, but it wouldn't run on my Windows 98 installation.
