You're welcome
This is so painful to watch. No runners showing for the ball. Stale passing due to no options but also zero will to take risks. Just no confidence and nothing happening at all. Awful stuff. My eyes are bleeding.

Maybe he just wasn't a very good reader:

"In the paper, Goodman rejected the idea that reading is a precise process that involves exact or detailed perception of letters or words."

I may have found the problem. He should have stopped here 😬

Thank you. Loved the lack of passing between CBs I've to say

Care to elaborate for people who've not seen hundreds of LFC pass maps? 😁

Can't VAR not intervene if not a pen or a red card? So he can't remove a free kick?

I mean, ultimately the right outcome happened which is what we want but why not reflect that in the rules?

Really good piece by the way 🙏🏻

Any data @dankennett.co.uk on where the first ball goes after winning a defensive aerial duel?

My impression is Liverpool regularly try to play it short or to pass it - more than average? For that, the medium-term solution could be to launch them and look to rebuild elsewhere once teams abandon it.

Does that header from them not count as a change in possession? Not being pedantic - I don't care about it enough for that 😅 - but curious at the definition

I disagree. We are amazing golfers for one. But a draw is a loss. We have to try to win. It's where the 15 other points came from.

We need to fix hitting it into the trees, of course. The reasons being numerous at the minute but not out of our reach.

I think Robbo was our best player today. Nothing really started moving it forward until he came on. Carried it so much and made so much space. Don't get at all what Kerkez gives us except van Dijk the ball back.

Afraid aren't we? Everyone receives it while looking backwards, and playing ball to feet or behind. Just no confidence in anything we do. Fear and uncertainty. The uncertainty I get really.

And still, probably should have had two with the Kerkez run behind and Isak heading across instead of down.

Absolutely insane refereeing

I mean, technically, we still could. I'd almost take that now the way we are playing

Maybe it's finally time we bring Aquilani back from his loan

I saw the other day that winning titles was one of the criteria. Is it a team award or an individual award? Cause the teams that won titles already got an award.

It's such a blindingly stupid event for a team sport.

On Wirtz, I actually think it's there already, he just hasn't adjusted to the tempo yet. If he was a bit faster, he'd have had three and maybe another except he tried a fancy pass to Salah.

He isn't at it yet, but you can see what it can be. The world is just moving faster than him.
