The owner of our local pub revealed last week his favourite song was Echo and the Bunnymen The Killing Moon (mine too!), and was overjoyed when I presented him with a first release (alas, 2nd pressing) single edition, he having lost his whole vinyl collection in a storage unit incident.

Oh goodness @rachelparris.bsky.social and @marcusbrig.bsky.social The Palace Hotel, whilst looking nice from a (long) distance, is a stain on humanity and barely better than a tent… is there a way of tipping when buying a ticket to one of your shows, so that you can stay in the Crescent next time?

Sometimes @rachelparris.bsky.social and @marcusbrig.bsky.social is ok to tune out from a podcast briefly to think “Ooh, they’re opening a Gail’s here” and then just rejoin the podcast and carry on… and sometimes on rejoining you hear “I’ve almost never submerged my car”… and it’s a mandatory rewind.

I literally know nothing about the economics of podcasts, but so sad this fantastic one couldn’t carry on.
