Maybe, just maybe, when some defend their freedom and those who profess commitment to human rights and values don't adequately help them in defeating a country that commits genocide, or fail to understand the long-term implications of their inaction, something's broken and it’s ok to point it out.

It’s a normal thing to feel kind of shaken and helpless over the realization that, at this point, the official UN (the only relevant institution for international law) is actively bending or rounding the law to absolve Russia and its actors from sanctions. And no one bats an eye.

Just a quick explainer of the Russian mentality I constantly use when talking to my western friends.
Russians have only two modi operandi: a victim and a sadist.
Whenever they can't play the sadist card, they will do everything to act like a victim, so they can be sadists again.
