Hobuck Beach - Makah Nation land

Yay! Despite having such difficultly with this particular type of houseplant (I don’t know why, but I do), it’s blooming and the blossom is the sweetest little lavender flower!!! 🌱🪴🌸

Stepped away from the city and out into nature to be reminded of the vastness of all. The painted hills are beautiful, far more so than can be captured with a photo. The best part was sitting in a spot for nearly 20 minutes with my love and enjoying only the sounds and sights of nature 💚

Thinking about last week in Neah Bay on Makah Nation land and how at peace I feel there.
Water created patterns in sand in forefront looking out toward a bright yellow setting sun. Large mussel coated rocks are dispersed in the wet sand and water flows gently from pools toward the sea.

Last night’s sunset on the land of the Makah people. This piece of land always helps me slow down and reconnect with my core, with the earth, and with my love for humanity. Forever grateful to the Makah people for sharing their culture, lives, children/students, and land with me🖤❤️
