Like the 052D only launches the longer YJ-18 from only 2 UVLS aft most modules on its forward of the super structure VLS bank.
Does the 055 also exhibit similar launch patterns? Or have we seen all missiles launch from all/most modules?

Do you think South Korean Sejong the Greats address the maxed out nature of the base Burke design?
One more thing, do the Flight III Burkes retain command facilities or was it scrapped? Been out of touch.

Complex situation.
Not to sound alarmist but #India's procurement lethargy today is going to be over paid by billions in the 2030s if anything flares up. The #Indian armed forces have still not adjusted procurement policies for a post-Russia procurement pause. They need to wake up now!

Why are modern frigates and destroyers fitted with just 32 SAMs?
The thing is, norm was to fire 2 SAMs per incoming target. Modern missiles are far more capable of hitting their targets than older SAM systems. Modern radars are far more capable of accurate mid course and final approach guidance.

Interesting scoop with #IndianNavy #Barak8. I have enlarged the fore starboard Barak 8 silo and it seems that they have two different types of VLS cell caps. One is circular in GREEN and the other is flat in BLUE.
