She was very kind, though! She spoke very slowly for me, and she didn't try to change any of my meds, so I can't complain.

She admonished me for not knowing more Spanish than I do, then she gave me four months of prescriptions. Hopefully when I see her in four months, my Spanish will be better.

Like, you kinda can't move to a country where you know only like 10-15% of people speak English, then get mad when people don't speak English. I get that. But hoo, it was stressful.

I’m not even clear that she’s realised that all psychics are lying. I think she might think it’s just those four.

I asked if anyone suggested using two toasters with four slots each. She said they didn’t, but if they had, she was ready to say “I tried that, and it flipped the breaker.”

She said that everyone was pretty much really nice and helpful. They’d say things like “Hmm, I think you can find them with four slots, but I’ve never seen one with eight.”

The Bronze Age didn’t end because iron was better. It ended because the supply lines for bronze collapsed, and iron, which was in many ways inferior, was more available.
