One wonders what would have happened if say 50 Congressmen had been killed on that day. That counterfactual was just seconds away.

She was fighting to overthrow the legitimately elected government of her own country. The insurrectionist mob was warned to back off, but she decided to bust through the door protected by armed officers into the space where congressmen were fleeing. Anybody else doing the same would have got shot.
