Leftist infighting is a meme at this point, but for some reason we’re unwilling to be open about the impact that fear has on our social practices. We’ve all felt quietly bullied into certain behaviors in the effort to avoid angering the Wrong Punk. And if you haven’t, maybe you’re the Wrong Punk.

I see a lot of leftists, members of my friend/peer group, using the implicit threat of social isolation to influence (control) the behavior of people they consider friends.

And I’m not talking about talking your friends out of joining a white supremacist group. I mean not watching a “wrong” movie.
