I found that properly applied numbing cream helped me but it still hurts. The pain was just during the actual zap but there was a lot of little zaps. It was exhausting.

It is not a fun quest. I mean, do it as an experiment but I've never met an actually happy Gentooer. Sure on the surface they seem happy with tinkering or endless rebuilding buuuut.... I dunno, it was unnecessarily painful to use as my daily driver.

Also Sir Pellinore gets reduced to a cameo when in the books there's an awful lot about him and the Questing Beast (especially in the second book). Kinda weird choice, I'd honestly prefer he just didn't show up in the movie even if his bit is funny.

It's adapted from a book (well, the first of several)! The movie doesn't cover a lot of the more brutal stuff that's in the book, like one where Wart becomes an ant and slowly loses his mind or the one where he's hazed in a mews. Or this weird part with fairy folk and literal meat/lard pillars...
