Tbc because I’m getting a lot of replies saying “enjoy it!”. I am not saying “She goes to bed on her own, but before morning she gets in to our bed.”

She is not taking any naps and her bedtime is our bedtime because she won’t sleep at all without us. It is not tenable and we are all miserable.

Being simply reducible to the body. Science really has no answer whatsoever for why any physical process should involve or produce a subjective conscious experience, and any such experience involved elements that appear irreducible to the physical.

Two things I’d say. Firstly, yes. On the hylomorphic view, only a pretty narrow range of mental activity transcends physicality totally. It had to do with our intellect’s ability to grasp universal form. Secondly, other mental activities may involve the body, but this is different from
