No, killing living trees for solar panels is insane. We need to stop making excuses for these environmentally destructive plans. If we use solar, the responsiblility is not to kill off biodiversity. The industry makes pitiful excuses like this all the time.

You are missing the point about killing biodiversity for solar panels that do the same job on rooftops. Cutting down a forest for solar panels is first class stupidity and greed.
