I’m also constantly amazed at how often I hear reporters just repeating what various politicians and department spokespeople and heads are saying but NOT often stating the facts. Some are doing that, but not nearly enough. Every single lie must be called out every single time.

No. It’s organic and naturally occurs in soils. Bt refer to the genus and species name for the specific bacteria it js. It produces proteins in the soil that are toxic to caterpillars. I want caterpillars in certain areas, but not in my tomato’s or squash.

This year I used Bt spray every 2 weeks and it seems to have kept them at bay. You can also try and replant but it may be a bit late for that now.

Will Rogers, huh, very generic name. Also kind of clever being that he was known for his skills with a lasso. None of these supposed agents look, act, or have the presence and posturing of any trained police officer I’ve ever seen.

Great column, as usual. It was truly a pleasure to march in Philly yesterday. I even saw a few Philly PD officers smiling and posing for photos with some of the protestors.

Thanks. I had already tried the recommended size needles and then gone up a size and was still a little tight. I was just impatient as my LYS is closed and I don’t have the next size up. 🤣

Thanks! I’m new at knitting anything that needs to be gauged properly- so this process is new to me. I may have to knit another swatch with a needle one size larger.

Pattern was written as per norm. I reduced for post to save space. This is my first wearable and wasn’t sure if it’s better to reswatch or resize.

Ooh. Thanks!

@suzygirl.bsky.social and @knitswithcats.bsky.social thank you! That’s what I thought my next step would be. I’ll need to measure myself again and re-examine the pattern. I believe I’m right between sizes so all things considered I may need to resize.

That’s pretty!

The design is from Michelle Hunter (aka KnitPurlHunter.com) she has a book called Building Blocks that is great to learn or practice new stitch patterns. Bonus, you can make a sampler blanket from all the squares you make!

But an "A" for the Philadelphia Inquirer :-) bsky.app/profile/medi...
We found that of the local newspapers covering the story on A1, their editors did a much better job choosing prominent placement, headlines, &coverage.

There are pro-democracy editors at @inquirer.com Kennebec Journal @thenewmexican.bsky.social who all received "A" grades

See the difference?

I can see why you couldn’t get that sweater out of your head. It’s gorgeous. I love that pattern.
