Can anyone here tell me what may be going on with my cucumber plants? This is a different variety than I’ve planted in the past & I haven’t seen this before. Not seeing any major bug infestation. Just some leaves turning brown and dying #gardensky #veggiegarden #gardening #gardenfeed

My next (and hopefully final) knitting question regarding this project is which bust measurement do you use to determine size? Shell has 3” ease. Chart is below. Do you use “to fit chest” or “finished bust”? Looks like finished measurements account for ease. #knitsky 🧶

Knitters, I have a gauge question. I knit my 1st swatch (in the round) for a summer sweater. Pattern is 4.5 stitches per inch. I’m at 5 stitches per inch. Is that 1/2 a stitch off going to matter? It’s a knit in the round sweater - stockinette Pattern=Perfecf Summer Shell on Ravelry. 🧶 #knitsky

I have discovered that knitting cables is so much easier than I ever thought it would be! I’m enjoying making this square of the Building Blocks book. #knitting 🧶

But an "A" for the Philadelphia Inquirer :-) bsky.app/profile/medi...
We found that of the local newspapers covering the story on A1, their editors did a much better job choosing prominent placement, headlines, &coverage.

There are pro-democracy editors at @inquirer.com Kennebec Journal @thenewmexican.bsky.social who all received "A" grades

See the difference?

And thus endeth my initiation into the New Jersey Wool Walk.
I’m glad I only made it to 8 of the 22 yarn stores that participated this year. I now know how I can better prepare for next year. I have so much yarn and so many things to knit! 🧶

I finally finished seaming my Grid Gambit cowl. So the project is finis! First time doing the mattress stitch. Must say I impressed myself with the way my colored lines matched up. I really should have left an inch at the bottom so it’s as loose at the top #knitsky #showmeyourknits #knitting

Just finished knitting the body of the Grid Gambit Cowl. Tomorrow I’ll do the I-cord bind off and block it. Once blocked the two short sides will be sewn together. New knitting skills for me=mosaic knitting and I-cords, and I’ll need to learn mattress stitch to finish.

I have about 18 more rows to knit today in this Grid Gambit Cowl if I want to keep on track to finish by Thursday’s class where we’ll get some guidance in i-cord bindoff & stitching it together. I have to take photos to properly appreciate it because I’m just too close to it right now. #knitting 🧶

With so much going on it’s easy to feel overwhelmed and not know what to do next. There are USPS rallies across the nation this Sunday. If you want to get involved here’s a link. #usmailisnotforsale

Well, my first frogging happened last night. This bit has been reduced to a pile of yarn. I must’ve done my yarn overs backwards as there were no pretty little holes in between the two purl rows. I guess it was bound to happen at one point. Glad it was just the beginning. #knitting 🧶

I started knitting my first color work piece last night. It looks like I made a few small mistakes but I’m forging ahead. This is a lot of firsts: first color work, first time using a large chart that’s more than simple K-P. This is going to be fun as soon as I get the hang of it. #knitting 🧶

Finished knitting the second square of my year long Building Blocks adventure. Another easy square to knit, this lesson was practicing reading a chart. In March I’ll be completing a cowl as well, or mostly completing; I guess it’ll depend how fast I am.

I was a Peace Corps Volunteer years ago, proudly serving my country. It wasn’t perfect, but I believe in the ideals upon it was built.

Now- now I’m mortified, embarrassed, horrified, disgusted, depressed, and furious.

Hello Knitting friends. I’ve only been knitting a year and am still learning.I REALLY want to make my first sweater. Any recs for a first sweater? Is it easier in pieces or the top-down method? No colorwork yet. My instructors gave me a few ideas but I’m looking for more. Thanks! 🧶

First block done, 11 to go! This is Block 1 of the Building Blocks book from Michele Hunter (Knit Purl Hunter) it’s supposed to be 12”x12”, but is somewhere around 10.5-11. We’ll see how it looks after I finish blocking it. #knitsky #knitting #showmeyourknits

I usually relocate spiders however this girl was too close to my face and a little too big for me to feel comfortable moving her to my plants. Needles to say, she did not get relocated. Female Black Widow Spider.

This was a fun and easy knit.
It took me longer than anticipated only because I didn’t have the time to devote. I’m still a slow knitter. #knitting 🧶

Hello fellow Knitters 🧶
I’m starting to accumulate different sizes of interchangeable and dpn needles. I’ve been keeping all my equipment in an old unused makeup bag, but I’m outgrowing that and need more organization. What do you recommend that will hold my needles? I have a cord bag.
