California by birth, Belfast by choice.
With all the investment in the new Belfast transport hub, I don’t understand why the bus to Dublin International leaves from a street corner near city hall with no bus shelter. It’s confusing for tourists. What’s the story?

What’s the best garage shop in Northern Ireland? The right answer is Creighton’s on the upper Lisburn Road. That place is unreal! 😂 and I found this old picture from the Old Belfast Facebook page.

This will our first family Christmas in Belfast. We’ll also be taking a trip down to Dublin. What are some not-to-miss activities and what are your favourite Northern Irish / Irish Christmas traditions?

That’s a shame - Netflix couldn’t cope with the traffic. Can’t watch Katie Taylor 🇮🇪 or Tyson fights. Disappointing.

The Irish election feels flat, with no cut through issues. After the last year, with the failed referendum, the collapse of Sinn Féin, Irish troops in danger in Lebanon, immigration strife, and the EU mandate that Apple pay €13b in taxes. Where’s the debate? The ideas?

My first day here - hoping the below is true! Early day Twitter was great craic, especially in Belfast. I’m enjoying making new friends and finding old friends here.
This site feels like twitter when twitter was fun and weird and cool.

X has become unbearable. What I loved about early days Twitter was the house-party vibe. You’d hear some jokes, debate politics, take an earful from some die-hard ideologue, and make new buddies. How are you finding this platform so far? @krobertson245.bsky.social, I followed you here! Enjoying?
